The family interest
for dogs and dog sports has always been huge. In 1980 we bought our
first Golden Retriever from kennel Trisobloues. We called her Frida.
Unfortunately we were not allowed to keep her for as long as we
would have wanted. |

In 1982 Codriver's
Naranja-Deary (Cindy 1982–1996) came in to our lives. Cindy
(left) gained 2 certificates and was also awarded BIS at the Golden
Retriever club show. Cindy was the first foundation bitch of our
kenneln. She was mated to Movistar's Buster Keaton in 1984 and gave
birth to her first litter. From that litter we kept a bitch with the
name of Honeytaste Bonnie-Girl (Bonnie 1984–1994). Bonnie
(below) was no star in the show rings, but the most adorable dog in
the world and was Marie's very own dog. However, she did receive CK
at show. |

Goldsteps
Jack-A-Dandy (Wille 1983-1996) arrived to the kennel in 1983.
Wille was not entirely easy to raise. He went his own ways and had a
strong opinion about most things. He was also the best of the all to
run away from home, especially when he could trick the girls into
escaping with him on his strolles around the neighbourhood. He
managed to gain 2 Certificates. |

John-Blunds
Honeytaste (Honey 1983–1992) was bought in 1983 by Ingela
Herrman. Honey has not only influenced our breeding with her blood,
but also given us our kennel name. She has CK from exibition shows.

In 1989 Dainty's
Blues in the Night (Fatman 1989–1995) was bought. Fatman was a
very special dog, a male which we will never forget. Unfortunately
he left us much too early. He gained his certificates and his
biggest achievement is being BIG-3 at the Kennel Club show in Visby. |

I have always been
fascinated with fur, and at one show I saw this woman with 5 brown
bearded collies. That was when I decided that one day i would have
such a dog. In 1988 I bought my first beardie – Ch Ballyhoo's Too
Foster (Gosh). A small black male who finally became Swedish
Show Champion (pictured above). He sired a few litters and from one
of those litters I got the bitch Ballyhoo's Dessed For Success
(Tilda) who became the foundation bitch here at Honeytaste
(pictured below). Tilda had 2 litters, and from one of the litters I
kept Honeytaste Molly-Malone (Druvan). She is right now my
oldest beardie at 11 years of age. After Druvan I have kept
Honeytaste Moulin Rouge Satine (Hallon). |

During the years
between 1995-2000 I was not very active due to my work, since I was
away from home for long periods of time. But in 2001 I went to visit
Liz Rundberg at Beardmarked's kennel in another errand. Sho showed
me her puppies and I was utterly in love! Ch Beardmarked's Quite
A Lady (Kiwi) moved in with me. A decision I have never come to
regret. This drop-dead gorgeous little girl, who can be completely
terrible, but yet completely wonderful. Now I was on the roll again
and found joy in showing the bearded collies. I suppose one should
not brag, but Kiwi has from the beginning been a shining star.;-)
Kiwi is Swedish Danish and Norwegian Show Champion, of which I am
very proud. In 2003 Kiwi was mated to Ch Farmarens High
Commission (Rufus) and that litter produced Ch Honeytaste Hot
Stuff (Grodden). He has really proven himself and became Swedish
Show Champion his first start in the open class. After that he had
to wait a little while until his costume arrived, but was shown
again in the summer of 2005, when he became 3rd best male in
Denmark, gaining his CC and also Danish Show Champion. |

Now there are new
challenges awaiting Grodden and my other bearded collies, I love
dearly. Everyone keep telling me that they are a bit crazy, just
like ther "mum";-) Right now I have 6 bearded collies;
Honeytaste Molly-Malone,
Ch Beardmarked's Quite A Lady,
Ch Honeytaste Hot Stuff,
Midnight's Zaga,
Woolpack's Quality Zweet
and the little one Honeytaste Star Quality. |

My goal is to breed
healty, sound, and mentally healty bearded collies. |
